AFP-ER Hard and thick plate for corrugated board and paper sacks printing |
|
When a plate must withstand enormous stress and yet meet high
standards of printing quality- as is required of a flexo plate in
printing heavy-duty bags and in areas of printing corrugated and
solid board - the AFP-ER plate fits the bill.
Its shore hardness ensures long run life even with highly abrasive printing materials
while the printing quality will remain consistent.
The wide exposure latitude of the AFP-ER plate
can be relied on for optimum anchoring of image elements like 3%
tone and isolated lines of 250µm even with a relief depth
of 3mm (0.118") . At the same time, intermediate depths form
perfectly, and the relief turns out with steep shoulders.

Inks and solvents
|
The AFP-ER plate is suitable for use with flexo inks based on alcohole
or water. It is permissible to use solvent mixtures containing a limited
amount of active solvents (ethyl acetate content-preferably under 10%).
|
Storage of raw plates
|
AFP-ER plates should be stored at a room temperature of 5-25°C
and relative humidity of 55%.
|
Storage of used plates
|
Careful cleaning of the plates after printing is recommended.
Direct exposure to sunlight, heat and high concentrations of
ozone should be avoided.
